OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Work with clients directly
- Set goals in feeding, dressing, sensory, toileting and self-help which have targeted, measurable outcomes
- Utilize research to establish and support evidence-based practice
- Licensed to practice under the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
- Work on a multidisciplinary team to holistically meet the needs of the child and family
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
- Graduate of an accredited Canadian Speech Language Pathologist Program
- Registered or eligible to be registered with ACSLPA
- Work with clients and their families to set goals which are development-focused and have targeted, measurable outcomes
- Provide direct service, consultation, mediation and education to client, family and community providers
- Work on a multidisciplinary team to holistically meet the needs of the child and family
Behaviour Consultant
- Evaluate families and creates goals based on family need
- Support families to learn strategies to improve child's behaviour skills
- Provide education to families on behaviour expectations, backwards and forwards chaining, social stories, visual supports
- Provides group intervention and parent support groups for behaviour needs
- Provides Triple P (Positive Parenting Supports) individual and in group intervention
- Facilitate supported community participation
- Work on a multidisciplinary team to holistically meet the needs of the child and family
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant/ Therapy Aide
- Preference given to those who have graduated from a recognized therapist assistant program, early learning in childcare - or equivalent training
- Preference given to those with one (1) year clinical experience
- Experience in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorder is an asset
- Employee must have a valid drivers license
- Upon hire, employee must provide a Criminal Record Check, Child Welfare Check & CPR Certification
